Do I need an account?
Never. Neat Suite has no accounts. All data is stored locally on your device – exactly where it belongs.
Is Neat Calorie free?
The basic version is completely free – no ads, no time limits. Optional one‑time purchases add protein tracking and expanded food packs. No subscriptions, ever.
Does the Neat Calorie app work offline?
Yes – fully offline. Log meals, track calories, view history, no internet required. The entire food database lives on your device. (If you intend to use it offline right away, visit all pages once before going offline.)
Will I lose my data if I clear my browser cache?
Yes – because the app stores everything locally. Don’t clear site data unless you intentionally want to reset. We don’t have a copy – your data stays yours.
How do I update the app?
Automatic. Just open it while online, and you’ll get the latest version. No manual updates needed.
Can I install Neat Calorie on my computer?
Yes. It’s a Progressive Web App (PWA). Use Chrome, Edge, or Safari – look for the install icon (a monitor with a down arrow) in the address bar.
How do activation keys work?
Each purchase gives you a one‑time activation key. Enter it in the app under Settings → Activate Key. Once used, the key cannot be reused. If you opted into recovery, your device is authorized permanently – even if you clear your browser data
Can I use my purchase on multiple devices?
A single key activates one device. If you need the feature on another device, you can use an additional key (from a bundle or new purchase). Founder's Edition includes two keys.
What is the recovery option?
During activation, you can opt in to store a one‑way device hash on our server. This allows you to restore the feature on the same device if you clear your browser data. The hash contains no personal information and cannot be reversed.
What happens if I lose my data?
Because we don't store anything on our servers, we cannot recover lost data. It's your responsibility to back up your device. However, premium features can be restored using the recovery option if you opted in during activation.
Why is Neat Calorie so fast?
All data lives on your device – searches happen instantly, even offline. No network delay, no waiting. It’s built to be slashingly fast – instant search, smooth navigation.
Are there any ads?

Do you sell my data?
We don’t have your data to sell. Everything stays on your device. The only remote data is an optional, one‑way device hash that cannot identify you.
